From Thursday 12th December, the special exhibition at the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum will commence to remember Dr. Tetsu Nakamura's numerous achievements through the exhibition panels and his publications.
Dr. Nakamura, who has sadly passed away on the 4th December 2019, was born in Fukuoka City. After spending his time in Fukuoka city while he was in a junior high school to university, he had delivered international aid work through providing medical treatment, land reclamation in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
He has awarded the Grand Prize of the 24th Fukuoka Prize in 2013. Then he engaged with many people in Fukuoka in the events such as the Award ceremony, public lectures and school visits.
