Mr. Manabe gave a lecture to sixth-grade students at the elementary school titled "Doing What You Love as a Job." He introduced himself as a creator specializing in motion images for music videos and event direction. To illustrate his work, he showcased an experimental artwork in which he converted music into electrical signals that influenced his friends' facial expressions through electrical stimuli. This innovative approach allowed him to control the facial expressions of others. The students were captivated, their eyes lighting up as various images were projected on the screen. They listened intently as Mr. Manabe shared stories about the music videos he had worked on.

Mr. Manabe reflected on his childhood obsession with computer games and programming. He shared with the audience his struggles at university but mentioned that he found his passion in areas outside of academic studies, which included continuing his DJ activities. He explained how he began composing music using his advanced programming skills, emphasizing that pursuing what he loved opened up significant job opportunities for him. Mr. Manabe also discussed the strong bond he shares with his workmates.

Additionally, he spoke about the digital technologies he integrated into his work. To make it easier to understand, he demonstrated how to instantly convert photos taken of students in the audience into cat illustrations using generative AI (artificial intelligence). The students were curious and asked questions about how AI could be used to create music or art, as well as about the content of Mr. Manabe’s projects. Overall, it was a thought-provoking session that encouraged students to consider their future potential.
