Mr. Prabda Yoon participated online from Thailand. He gave a lecture on “High School is the Best Time to Cultivate Creativity,” adding a touch of humor at times. Mr. Prabda reflected on his high school experiences when he devoted a lot of time pursuing a wide range of interests, from Japanese pop culture, including manga and anime, to traditional culture, such as Ukiyo-e and Tea ceremony. He said that the knowledge he gained then has been helpful in his current activities. The students listened intently to his inspirational message, “High school is an important time to create foundations for your life. Spend your
time effectively to pursue your interests.”
The students then gave resentations in English they had prepared about famous places and festivals in Fukuoka City using PowerPoint. Mr. Prabda, said Fukuoka is one of his favorite cities. He praised the content and techniques of each presentation and showed an interest in the Fukuoka attractions he wasn’t familiar with. The students listened attentively to the suggestions and advice that Mr. Prabda, a multi-talented creator, gave on their presentations. Both sides enjoyed this special event.
